The 3GW initiative’s ambition is to restore millions of hectares of currently degraded land; sequester millions of tons of carbon to create a carbon credit and agricultural economy that will create countless green jobs. Along with education, training and banking, this will help communities living along the Wall to grow:

- Provide food security for anyone that go hungry everyday
- Manage climate resilience in regions around the globe
- Create a new paradigm of community and sustainability
Community Income
Orchards
- Planting – 4 workers per hectare
- Annual maintenance – 2 workers per hectare
- Harvesting – 4 workers per hectare
Processing
Potential to build processing plant to produce concentrate for export to juice manufacturers in
Europe – 6-10 workers per plant
Livestock fodder sales
Harvest cladodes to sell to livestock farmers – 1 worker per hectare
Bioenergy
Bioenergy facility is a possible project that would benefit rural communities. 3GW has partners who can build, train workers and manage these projects.
Income would be commensurate with national wage levels, but more importantly, it would be year-round and sustainable.
